The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu, has portrayed votes purchasing as "growth" to Nigeria's discretionary procedure.
Yakubu expressed this on Thursday at the introduction of testaments to 21 out of the 23 recently enrolled political gatherings in Abuja, the country's capital.
"Votes purchasing is malignancy to our decisions that we should cooperate on the whole to stamp out," he said.
